Having qualified for the 2007 World Cup without Hemp, the Bermuda Cricket Board see fit to create a position for him that will also enable him to be eligible to play for Bermuda in 2007 ? before he returns ?home?.

We believe the best talent available in Bermuda should be given the opportunity to represent Bermuda in 2007 because then the experience will remain with us forever.

But Hemp will return ?home? and will no longer be here to pass any knowledge on to up and coming Bermuda cricketers.
