It is a great shame that Bermuda will not have a side in the regular (World Rugby) Classic competition this year.

We are host and should have a team.

I think that some big crowds come to see familiar faces on the field as well as the famous faces. It seems that we are the only country though that plays their national team.

I think a great solution to the problem is to have a Classic Team that is separate from the national team.

A lot of the older guys would be happy to train from late summer until the tournament.

In a lot of the cases the older guys can't make the time commitment for a whole season but would be more than happy to train three or four months hard for the Classic.

I think you would then get a very experienced side and you would have none of the conflicts that Mr. (John) Kane (Classic President) mentioned.

The national team could concentrate on the Carribean competitions and would not be conflicted .

Hey, it's just an idea.

Mr. Kane and his group have to be commended for all that he has done to make this a world class event .

Everyone in the rugby community is grateful for that. It's the best time.
