I really enjoyed reading about the Bermuda match with El Salvador. Too bad we couldn't get the game on TV here.

There is a local connection here. Kenny Thompson once coached the Washington Rangers Under-13 boys' soccer team based in Washington, DC. We were really disappointed when he graduated from Howard University and left for home in Bermuda.

But it's not surprising he has been successful coaching the Bermuda national team. We could all see his coaching talent years ago.

I'm sure there are even better things to come with Kenny at the helm.
