Sprinter Shahnel records new PB

Bermuda sprinter Shahnel Woodley triumphed in the 100 metres at the Johnny Mathis Invitational meet in San Francisco over the weekend, recording a personal best time of 11.7 seconds.
Woodley, a sophomore at Laney College in Oakland, California, had run a PB of a 11.89 seconds in a preliminary heat of the 100 metres at the Stanford Invite earlier this month.
The former Berkeley Institute student also placed second in the 200 metres final over the weekend with another personal best of 24.13 seconds.
