St. David?s retained the Eastern Counties Cup on Saturday when they defeated Flatts Victoria by 166 runs.

But Flatts veteran Gary Brangman won the man of the match award when he took a remarkable seven wickets.

His heroics were not enough to stop a star-studded St. David?s line-up piling up 327 runs before being bowled out, with Lionel Cann and OJ Pitcher top-scoring with 59 each.

In reply, Flatts were bundled out for 161 with only Rahji Edness (45) putting up much resistance.
