St. George's take cup in dramatic finish

George O'Brien Jr. and Greg Foggo shattered Somerset's hopes of retaining the Cup as they dismissed the West End team for 94 runs.

St. George's were earlier bowled out for 173, setting Somerset a moderate total of 121 to win the Cup outright.

But St. George's selection strategy of picking a bowler-heavy side seemed to pay off as O'Brien took six wickets to add to the five he collected yesterday while Foggo, replacing Stefan Kelly as the opener snapped up the other four.

Only opener Stephen Outerbridge showed much resistance to St. George's scoring 39 runs before falling to O'Brien. after a third wicket partnership with Kwame Tucker (15) yielded 51 runs, Somerset fell apart, scoring just 38 runs for their last seven wickets.
