Saleem Mukudem struck an undefeated 55 and Kevin Hurdle claimed three wickets for 29 as Stars defeated Bay by four wickets at St. John's Field.
Set a target of 162, Mukudem spearheaded Stars' batting with a spirited knock that contained a six and eight fours, while opener Jermaine Postlethwaite followed with 34, hitting two sixes and four fours. Others in double figures were Hasan Durham with 20 not out and Gershon Gibbons ten.
Dennis Pilgrim was the pick of the Bay bowlers with two wickets for 21 runs from 8.5 overs, including a maiden.
Earlier, Bay reached their respectable total after reeling at 14 for two with Jermaine Warner (nought) and Stephen Outerbridge (four) suffering early dismissals.
But stability came with Dennis Trott striking 39, Irving Romaine 32, Roderick Masters 23 and Anthony Braithwaite 25.
In addition to Hurdle's wickets, Durham weighed in with three for 42 off ten overs, Wilbur Burt with two for 23 off eight overs and two maidens and Mukudem who took two for 34 off eight overs.
