Nakia Smith hammered 72 while Dean Bean and Jaymo Durham combined to take six wickets as Social Club stormed to an emphatic 175-run victory at Devonshire Rec. in this Premier Division clash on Saturday.

Social Club also got solid batting support from skipper Dwayne (Streaker) Adams who struck 57 and Detroy Smith who was undefeated on 38. Also in double figures were opener Dano Outerbridge on 26, player-coach Charlie Marshall (22) and Jamiko Marshall (11).

Nakia Smith and Detroy Smith, coming together at 175 for five, ensured a big total for Social Club by putting on 103 for the sixth wicket with Nakia being the dominant partner, slashing the bowling to all parts of the field.

Medium pacer Quinton Burch was the pick of the Warwick bowlers, taking three for 44 off eight overs.

Social Club required just 21.5 overs to demolish their opponents with Dean Bean, Jaymo Durham and Jeffrey Tyrrell the chief wicket takers.

Durham, who bowled three overs, finished with three for 13 while Bean had three for 31 off eight overs with two maidens and Tyrrell two for 47 off eight overs with two maidens.

Skipper Nyon Steede top scored for Warwick with 17 while Chris Douglas and Lamar Caines chipped in with 15 apiece.
