Luke O?Connor stroked 97 in the second innings and returned overall match figures of five for 56 to carry Leg Trappers to a comfortable seven-wicket triumph over Willow Cuts at Somerset Cricket Club.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Cuts posted 173, buoyed by a top knock of 65 from the bat of Ryan Shepperd and 21 from national youth team cricketer Deunte Darrell.

O?Connor seized three wickets for 28 runs and Terry Corday three for 47.

In reply, Leg Trappers could only muster 158, Graham Strange scoring 28 and James Broadbent 24.

Sheroy Fubler grabbed three for 39, Kevon Fubler two for 50 and veteran all-rounder Reggie Tucker jr two for 13.

Cuts then posted 151 in their second innings, Bergon Spencer top scoring with 20, Jermaine Trott 19 and Shervin Hall an unbeaten 15.

Terry Corday grabbed three Cuts wickets to fall for 34 runs while O?Connor had two for 28.

Asked to score 167 for victory, Leg Trappers knocked off the required runs for the loss of only three wickets with O?Connor paving the way with yet another match-winning innings.

Nick Lucking chipped in with 29.

Darrell, Javon Fubler and Kevon Fubler managed one wicket apiece.
