No umpires showed up but Wendell White wasn't bothered by the presence of stand-in officials as he hammered 143 for Somerset in First Division play at Somerset yesterday.
White, a member of Bermuda's successful ICC Trophy team, struck 10 fours and 10 sixes while Tony Cheeseman hit 46 with nine fours. Kevin Fubler took two for 27 from 10 overs.
With their innings reduced to 30 overs because of rain, Willow Cuts always faced a huge challenge.
Bergon Spencer was top bat with 76 with four fours and six sixes while Dexter Basden hit 36 and Dwight Basden 30. Reid Jones took four for 26 and White two for 20.

Chris Fleming scored 110 with 12 fours and four sixes and Graham Strange followed with a brisk 93 to lead visiting Trappers to this easy victory at White Hill Field.
Tacoma Robinson was the top bowler for Bridge with two for 54 off nine overs with a maiden.
Jermaine Salaam was high bat for the home side with 50.
Trappers' skipper Luke O'Connor ended the game with a hat-trick and finished with figures of three for 33 off seven overs. Marc Weatherhill had three for 44 off eight overs, James Swan two for 30 off 10 overs and Strange two for 31 off nine overs.
The First Division match between Police and Devonshire Recreation Club, scheduled for Police Field, did not get underway after umpires failed to show.
