Tyler shines again in Grand Prix

Top amateur cyclist Tyler Butterfield enjoyed one of his strongest performances yet over the weekend, finishing sixth in the Grand Prix de Plouay in the north west of France.

The pro section of the race was won by Tour de France stalwart and Lance Armstrong team-mate George Hincapie, with Butterfield among the leaders in the amateur section while riding with his Vendee U team.

Butterfield, who performed well in the recent Tour de Guadeloupe, actually made the podium as the highest finisher in the ?national? class for first-year racers.

The young Bermudian, who competed in the Athens Olympic triathlon, has been going from strength to strength since winning the CD&P Grand Prix in Bermuda last year and beginning his new life with Vendee U in France.
