Bermuda suffered a crushing defeat to cricket minnows the Cayman Islands at the Americas Under-19 Cricket Championships in Toronto, Canada yesterday.

Set a very gettable 168, Bermuda crashed to a humiliating 72 all out in response.

National coach Mark Harper was unavailable for comment last night but will no doubt be hoping that the team's fortunes improve in their next match against the USA which starts today.

The match against the USA will be followed by a rest day before the youngsters take on Argentina and Canada on successive days.
