Wade contemplates return
Former Bermuda captain Meshach Wade is still contemplating a return to Major Indoor Soccer League club, Harrisburg Heat, having flown back to the Island late last year after the death of his sister.
Wade declined to elaborate on the reasons why he has remained on the Island, although it has been reported that it is allegedly due to financial matters.
Wade declined to comment on the situation other than to say yesterday: "I would prefer not to part with any information at this juncture until I have held discussions with my attorney. Until then I decline to make any comment."
The midfielder, meanwhile, remains exiled from his team-mates in Pennsylvania.
Wade, who was reported to have been in training with Boulevard Blazers recently, has been placed on Harrisburg's inactive roster.
"Meshach is still part of our team and at some point in the future we would love to have him back," Heat spokesman Phil Yerger said yesterday. "He has played very well for us in the past and he would certainly be a major contributor for us when he returns."
