The dynamic duo of Heys Wolfe and Raymond Beach has officially been dissolved.

has learned that Wolfe has been released from Devonshire Cougars where he formed a lethal attacking partnership with Beach, and is set to repatriate to nearby St. John?s Road to rejoin Dandy Town Hornets who have been busy shopping during the off-season period.

Wolfe joined Cougars, where his late father Heys Johnson previously played, in 1999-00 following a playing stint with Town under coach Mark Trott and won a Martonmere Cup medal with the Big Cats in 2001-02.

It is understood other Cougars players Aljame Zuill and Kwame Steede have also sought releases from the Den with Zuill contemplating a return to Devonshire Colts and Steede also going to Town.

?Heys has been released from the club and that is all I am prepared to state at this particular moment,? a Devonshire Recreation Club spokesperson stated.

Wolfe had a Bermuda Council for Drug Free Sport (BCDS) ban for allegedly refusing to take a mandatory national team drugs test lifted late last year and helped guide Cougars to the 2005-06 Champions Cup, scoring a spectacular volley against Hornets in the semi-final to catapult the Big Cats in the final.

Meanwhile, others either in negotiations with team officials or already opted to transfer to Town include Ireland Rangers pair Shakir Smith and McLee Smith ? back for a second stint with the Premier Division club.

PHC Zebras? striker Antwon and Tokia Russell is also headed to Town to be reunited with former Zebras team-mate Ottis Steede, while big striker Colin Keane has swapped the orange and white of commercial outfit MR Onions for the brown and gold of Hornets.

Elsewhere, Somerset Trojans appear set to cash in on the services of former Hereford United defender and national team skipper Meshach Wade, Southampton Rangers? team-mate Travis Wilkinson, North Village ?keeper Adrian Burrows and Paget striker Dion Stovell, according to club sources.

Bermuda Football Association?s release period expired June 30.
