Bermuda remain bottom of the pile
Bermuda remain bottom of the Intercontinental Cup standings, 17 points adrift of their closest rivals according to the latest table released by the International Cricket Council yesterday.
Eight countries are competing in the four-day tournament.
But Bermuda, who have been unable to host a single fixture because of the lack of a pitch that meets international standards, have yet to win a match.
Their next Intercontinental Cup clash is scheduled for July 4 to 7 against Canada at the Maple Leaf ground in Toronto, followed by a game against Scotland on July 10 to 13, which Sports Minister El James hopes will be played at the National Sports Centre if the pitch passes an ICC inspection.
Their final match is against Cup leaders Namibia from September 3 to 6 at a venue still to be announced.
Namibia have so far won all four of their games for a total of 68 points.
Bermuda have collected just six points - awarded after earning a first lead in one of their games.
The competition resumed yesterday when United Arab Emirates hosted the Netherlands at the Sharjah Stadium.
Today Namibia take on Scotland in Windhoek.
