Top Bermuda sailor Peter Bromby and crew Lee White finished in 20th place in the Bacardi Cup Star Class Regatta in Florida after competing in the final two races yesterday.
The event was hit by bad weather, forcing organisers to postpone racing on Wednesday and Thursday.
When the competition resumed yesterday, the Bermuda pair were placed 16th in a field of 114 having placed sixth in the opening race, 20th in the second and 34th in the third. They posted finishes of 23 and 18 yesterday but it wasn't enough to improve on their overnight position.
A two-time Bacardi Cup winner, Bromby still has hopes for qualifying for this summer's Olympics in Beijing.
