Coddington could be back to bolster side
Devonshire Cougars dynamo Domico Coddington could play a part in Bermuda's two friendlies with St. Kitts and Nevis at the National Sports Centre (NSC) this weekend.
Coddington is due to return from abroad later this week and expected to be named in national coach Keith Tucker's 20-man squad.
The 2004-05 Bermuda Football Association (BFA) MVP has been an integral part of the senior national team set-up and his involvement in this week's friendlies bolster the team's ranks.
Coddington has struggled to return to peak form since injuring his right foot earlier this year but recently showed flashes of brilliance to indicate his troubles may now be behind him.
The star player has missed Cougars' last three matches through travel abroad for personal reasons.
Since transferring from nearby North Village four years ago the versatile player has risen to near cult status at the Den and shared in the Big Cats' league and cup success under former coach Andrew Bascome and his successor Shawn Smith.
Coddington previously spent two summers at Oakville Blue Devils in the Canadian Professional League and has also had trials with United Soccer League's (USL) Atlanta Silverhawks and Italian Serie C side AS Acireale.
