Peter Bromby's chances of qualifying for the Beijing Olympic Games suffered another turn for the worse after he failed to finish yesterday's race in the 2008 Star Worlds in Florida.

The four-time Olympian and his crew Lee White now lie in 72nd position over all.

Bromby who had placed an encouraging fourth in Friday's first race has followed up with a black flag and a 63rd place finish.

Regulations permit him to discard one of his race results. Four races remain in the regatta.
