Gaudio pulls out
Gaston Gaudio, the 2004 French Open champion, has pulled out of this week's XL Bermuda Open.
The Argentine felt unwell yesterday and has withdrawn from the tournament.
He was due to play American Wayne Odesnik, who will now face Israel's Noam Okun.
Gaudio's place will be filled in the main draw by lucky loser David Martin.
Gaudio was ranked in the top 10 in 2005, and his record on clay is second only to Rafael Nadal. However, an ankle injury saw him sidelined for much of the past year and this week's tournament was to have played an important part in his comeback.
The main game this evening will see Donald Young take on Australian Greg Jones. Young is seeded fourth for this week's tournament, while Jones was given one of three wild cards to be handed out.
