Hornets set for tough Cougars clash

Dandy Town and last year's beaten finalists Devonshire Cougars will lock horns tomorrow in the Dudley Eve at Lords.

The Big Cats have appeared in the last three finals, losing to the Hornets on penalties in 2004-5, beating North Village to lift their maiden Dudley Eve trophy the following year, before going down against Somerset Trojans last season.

Devarr Boyles' Hornets will be looking to use last month's FA Cup triumph against their cross-town rivals as inspiration for their opening match of the competition. The winners will take on North Village, who defeated PHC 1-0 earlier this week, at Wellington Oval on Boxing Day.

Hornets defender Ernest Signor remains doubtful following a bike accident. Cougars should welcome back winger Domico Coddington who returned to the Island last week and figured in Bermuda's 4-2 win over St. Kitts and Nevis.

Hornets play Cougars at 2.30 p.m, following the Dudley Eve First Division game between St. David's and Hamilton Parish at 12.30 p.m.
