Learn lacrosse skills at clinic

The Bermuda Lacrosse Association will hold free skills clinics to anyone interested in learning to play the sport.

All ages and skill levels are welcome to attend the clinics, which will be taught by members of Bermuda's 2006 ILF World Championships team.

Sessions will focus on stick skills such as catching and throwing as well as rules of the game. They will take place on Sunday mornings on Gym Field, below CedarBridge Academy, at 9.30 a.m. A demonstration of the sport by current members of the club will follow at 10.15 a.m. Equipment will be provided.

Eligible students attending the clinics will be invited to try out for the Bermuda Lacrosse Association's Under-19 team to travel to British Columbia in July 2008 to compete in the ILF Under-19 World Championships.
