The stage has now been set for a final showdown between past winner Blake Marshall and Paul Amess in the Amateur Match Play Championships at Mid Ocean Club today.

Marshall defeated another past winner, Robert Vallis five and four while in an enthralling battle Amess finished one up on rival Anthony Mocklow.

In the ladies event, Kim Botelho defeated Katrin Burnie six and four while Debby Jamgochian ended one up against Helen Stovell to secure a place in today's final.
