Shot putter Nandi Woods has become the 18th young Bermuda athlete to qualify for next month's Carifta Games.

Woods recorded a distance of 10.10 metres in the under 17 girls shot putt at the National Sports Centre last weekend to qualify for the Games, to be held in St.Kitts.

Athletes have another chance to secure a place in the squad with the Bermuda Track and Field Associationholding two meets at the NSC this weekend.
