Bermuda's Under-17s suffered defeat against a more experienced Reading Rage in the final practice match of their week-long training camp at the Pennslyvannia-based team.

The Super Y League outfit, formerly coached by Bermuda technical director Derek Broadley, took the lead in the 19th minute through Nick Matthews and increased their advantage on 43 minutes with Patrick Letourneau getting on the scoresheet.

Bermuda drew their first match against Rage's Under-16s earlier in the week with Kashi Davis scoring their goal.

Broadley, who was impressed with the 23-man squad, made the trip along with coaches Mark Wade and Ray Jones, as well as Bermuda Football Association's (BFA) head of delegation Calvin Blankendal.

The seven-day training camp was organised to prepare the team for their World Cup qualifiers in Trinidad and Tobago in July.
