Bermudians James Anfossi and Brian Bulhoes currently occupy the top spot in the Renaissance Re Junior Gold Cup that kicked off in the Great Sound yesterday.

Another local favourite, Blake Burgess, remains just two places off the pace in fourth after four races of the 13-race series.

"It was a good day for our boys who are right up there," said Royal Bermuda Yacht Club (RBYC) sailing coach Paul Doughty. "The racing was really tight in 18-knot winds and the kids seemed to be having a good time.

"The camaraderie has been great, which in some ways is similar to the Gold Cup."
