Elite race field finalised
A total of 31 elite overseas athletes — 19 men and 12 women — will compete in January’s International Race Weekend, according to an announcement yesterday by event organisers.
Many of the runners will be returning to the Island, including defending marathon champions El Afoui Boubker of Morocco and Svetlana Baigulova of Russia.
The Front Street Mile is scheduled for Friday, January 12 with the International 10K on January 13 and the International Marathon and Half-Marathon on January 14.The full list of invited athletes are as follows:
