Sims to play in Gosling's

Bermuda's number one golfer Michael Sims will return to the Island to take part in the Gosling's Invitational at Belmont Golf Course.

Sims missed out on his PGA Nationwide Tour card for next season bowing out at the second stage of Q-School at Lake Jovita Country Club, Florida, last weekend.

The 28-year-old will now challenge defending champion PH Horgan lll who won the event last year. Runners-up Ian Doig and Kirk Hanefeld will also be returning to the 72-hole stroke play individual competition, which starts on Monday.

The Championship is open to invited professionals and amateurs, but amateur players are not entitled to prize money.
