Under-13s complete tour with 50 percent record
Bermuda Under-13s ended their tour of St.Kitts with defeat against the hosts in their final Regional Invitational Cricket Festival game.
In a match interrupted by showers, the colts were set a target of 146 to win, following a half-century by opener Darren Hopson and a quick-fire 23 by Keithroy Freeman for St.Kitts.
In reply the Islanders managed 114 for five wickets, and needed a near impossible 50-runs off the last four overs. Lateef Trott top scored with 36 and Tre Manders hit 19.
The team arrives back in Bermuda tonight and will be welcomed by Minister of Sport Randy Horton and Minister of Community and Cultural Affairs Wayne Perinchief.
Out of their eight tour fixtures Bermuda beat Nevis, Montserrat, Antigua and Anguilla. They lost against St.Kitts, Barbados, Trinidad and Dominica.
