All-Stars on show in triple-header
The action commences with the primary schools game at 5.30 and will be followed by the middle schools at 7.00 and the high schools at 8.30.
The primary match traditionally proves to be a tight one -- as was the case in this week's Champion of Champions game between Victor Scott and West Pembroke.
Ian Coke's goals gave Victor Scott a 2-0 half-time lead and despite a battling second half performance West Pembroke could only net once through Glen Walker.
Those players will face each other again this evening in the East v West clash.
Warwick Academy were this year's champions of the middle schools, beating Clearwater 3-1 in a fast-paced final. Dellwood and Whitney also produced a close match in the Knockout Finals, leaving the East slight favourites to take the honours tonight.
The format for the high schools match, meanwhile, has changed once again from CedarBridge versus the Rest to East versus West. The West team will be made up of this year's Cup finalists Berkeley and Warwick Academy.
Warwick were the eventual winners of that game on penalties with goalkeeper Steven Ambrosio the hero. He will be hoping to shut out the East in tonight's fixture, while the West's attack will be led by Somerset Trojans duo Nasir and Nadir Wade and Devonshire Colts' FA Cup goalscorer Geron Trott.
Also in the West squad is last year's MVP, Joel Duffy, and young cricket star OJ Pitcher, who has just returned to the Island after representing the Americas in the Youth World Cup.
The East squad, which will comprise players from CedarBridge, Saltus and Mount Saint Agnes, also boasts players with Premier Division experience. Raymond Beech plays for Dandy Town, while Tarik Jennings and Marlon Dill are members of league leaders North Village. Michael Ferreira has appeared for defending champions Vasco.
