The five-member team of Laurie Zuill, Kim Wilkinson, Joy Anderson, Iejaa Caines and Peter Linda accumulated a total of eight medals, including three gold, two silver and three bronze. They also each won trophies for superior fighting displays.

The event, held in Atlanta, Georgia, saw an estimated 400-500 participants, and was overseen by legendary Grand Master Min Suk Song, a ninth degree black belt in both Taekwondo and Hapkido and former world champion in each.
