(after extra time) Friendship Trophy holders Colts scraped through to the semi-finals thanks to an amazing comeback from two goals down and an extra-time winner from `Supersub' Marvin Belboda.

Trojans appeared to be cruising to victory after two first-half David Burchall goals had put them in control and they still led 2-0 with just five minutes of normal time remaining.

But then Colts' lived up to their reputation as the country's best exponents of sudden-death soccer by scoring two goals in two minutes to force an extra half hour.

A mistake by Somerset 'keeper Timmy Figureido in the 85th minute gave Colts hope, as he fumbled a Marvin Belboda shot and Clevon Hill pounced to score from the rebound.

Belboda also made the equaliser, when he crossed hopefully to the far post and fellow substitute Lloyd Holder rose superbly to power a header into the bottom right-hand corner of the net.

Colts looked the livelier side in extra time and when the Somerset defence failed to cope with another long ball in the 111th minute, Belboda capitalised expertly, steering home the decisive goal with the outside of his right foot.

The west enders had looked in complete control in the first 45 minutes and went ahead on 14 minutes, when Burchall steered the ball out to David Rahman and then popped up at the far post to volley home the midfielder's cross.

Seven minutes later, Burchall netted another fine goal, sending a flashing near-post header past Colts 'keeper Kevin Bean after a quality cross delivered by Andrew Rahman from the left.

But Trojans sat back on their lead after the break and despite goal-line clearances by Galvin Butterfield and Richard Scott, they eventually crumbled.

St. David's 3 Ham.Parish 2 Parish fought back from two goals down but still went out of the Shield to a Lionel Cann winner for St. David's 12 minutes from time.

Chris Foggo had put the Islanders ahead in the sixth minute and Otis Minors doubled their lead nine minutes into the second half.

But Cory Hill pulled one back for Parish in the 65th minute and Irving Burgess equalised 10 minutes later.
