Craig Brown won the group four event in Bermuda Junior Golf Association's tournament on Saturday when he carded a splendid 69 at Ocean View.

Tied for second place with 76 were Quinton Sherlock and David James.In group three Duane Simons shot a 77 to defeat Damon Smith by four shots.

Young Aaron James headed group two players with a 13-hole score of 58. He was followed by Chris Smith, who scored 60 and Ben Beasley on 61.

Charles Markey led group one nine-hole players with a score of 43 to beat Rajesh Pachai by one shot. Eric West was third with a 46.

The Novice programme was played over six holes at Belmont with David Smith firing 33, closely followed by Stephen McGuiness and David Boyce, both with 35.

SOFTBALL SOF The Commercial Softball League, in tandem with the Bermuda Umpires and Scorekeepers Association, will be holding a clinic tomorrow in preparation for the new season.

The event, which takes place at 10 a.m. at the Bernard Park softball diamond, is geared towards all current umpires and scorekeepers and Commercial Softball League members.

Each team is asked to send two representatives and anyone wishing to become an umpire should also attend.

VOLLEYBALL VOL Mount Saint Agnes have won a high school tournament championship by defeating Roger Chaffee three games to two in a best of five series.

Chaffee won the first game 11-9, but Mount St. Agnes roared back to win the final two games 11-5 and 11-4.

Mount Saint Agnes made it to the finals by beating Saltus A while Chaffee defeated Saltus B.
