Football officials fly in for meeting
members in the first ever full council meeting of that organisation to be held in Bermuda.
The meeting takes place at Stonington Beach, preceded by an opening ceremony and press conference at 2.00 p.m.
Bermuda Football Association General Secretary David Sabir was yesterday busy collecting members of the CONCACAF delegation as they arrived.
Warner was scheduled to touch down on an evening flight from New York.
Among the activities planned for the delegates on Saturday is a visit to the Bermuda National Centre where they will be briefed on the facilities that will be available for soccer and other sports in the future.
Sabir said that with Warner also being a vice-president of FIFA, Bermuda intended to give a comprehensive presentation of plans that were underway to further develop the sport on the Island.
