Keith Jennings scored a hat-trick and had a hand in two others Vasco goals at St. David's field as Boulevard suffered their first loss of the season.

The game was not as one-sided as the score would suggest though as Boulevard played some competitve football only to see Vasco kill them on the counter-attack.

Kuma Smith opened the scoring for Vasco in the 16th minute as he hammered home from six yards following some superb skill from Jennings down the right flank to supply the cross.

That goal was scored against the run of play and it seemed to have awakened Vasco as Boulevard enjoyed more possession in the opening 15 minutes.

It would only take Vasco 10 more minutes to strike again. This time it was Jennings scoring his first of three by placing his shot hard and low with a one-time volley from just six yards out.

Dwight Basden made no mistake in the 38th minute. He calmly tapped the ball into 'keeper Tuzo's bottom left following Jennings perfect cross, after he himself was picked out by Smith.

Boulevard continued to fight and they were unlucky as Shakia Crockwell hit wide from an acute angle in the 41st minute and substitute Vernon Phillips' chip shot dropped just over the crossbar to end the first half.

The second half saw Boulevard rewarded as Phillips was bought down in the box to set up a penalty in the 47th minute. Midfield orchestrator Kenneth Darrell calmly placed it to Figureido's right.

Boulevard's celebrations were short-lived, though, as Anderson's seemingly harmless shot moved in the air to beat Tuzo at his near post in the 58th minute.

Jennings took his tally to two after Basden's cross ricocheted off Anderson only to land at Jennings' feet and leaving him with a simple finish.

Crockwell again went close for Boulevard in the 73rd minute but he could only find the side netting.

Jennings then completed his hat-trick in style two minutes from the end, beating two defenders down the right and then cutting in to shoot home.
