OCC I have played 15 games, won 13 and lost two for 26 points while The Centre have 24 points from 13 games with 12 victories and one defeat. The two teams meet next Tuesday night at OCC with the defending champions in a must-win situation. They will also need help from Prison Officers and BPSA if they are to retain their title.

Against Prison Officers, Nick Frost and Dave Waltham each won two matches and Mike Lindo one match while Frost and Waltham won their doubles. Prison Officers, with two players, had to default four matches with Barry Rahman getting their only win.

For the Centre, Corey Berkeley won three games and Hasan Durham and Roderick Masters two while Rawle Frederick had two wins for BPSA.

In the Second Division, OCC II beat Nexgen Ltd 7-4 but lost vital ground to Eastern Stars who increased their win column with a 9-2 win over Bermuda College. Eastern Stars have 18 points from 15 games and OCC 16 points from 15.

Eastern Stars and OCC meet next week at St. George's Cricket Club in their final league game and OCC must win by at least a 10-1 margin to force a play-off and 11-0 to win the championship outright.

For Eastern Stars, Craig Trott had three wins and Kevin Lapsley and Perry Swan two wins while Donovin Seymour won both matches for the college.

Chris Fleming won three matches for OCC against Nexgen and Ian Britchfield and Trevor Elliott one each.

The East v West charity match has been brought forward to March 23 at 7.30 at BPSA.
