evening when speed won't be the only factor to determine overall winners.
Traditionally the last event on the programme, the Weight-Handicap 5K is determined by dividing the runners' time in seconds by their weight in pounds -- a format which favours the heavier athletes.
Policeman Steve Donnelly, who weighs in at around 200-lbs, won last year with a time of 17 minutes, 46 seconds and will be favoured to repeat that victory, while Barbara Clemens, the 1997 women's champion, isn't expected to race, having suffered a serious leg injury earlier this year.
First across the line last year were Brett Forgesson and Jane Christie.
Tuesday evening's race starts at 7.15 p.m., while walkers will be sent off at 6.45 p.m. Entries close on Monday.
