Bank of Bermuda II won the round-robin phase of the `A' Division but were semifinal losers in the knockout, 2-11, 11-7, 11-6 to Bermuda College. The other semifinal saw Saltus beat Gray & Kempe 11-9, 2-11, 13-11.
In the `B' Division, Arthur Andersen beat Bacardi International 11-3, 10-12, 11-0 in the final.
There were a total of 22 teams in this division, which was split into four and three-team pools. The top two teams from each pool along with the four best third-placed teams moved into the knockout round of 16, which was decided by sudden-death games to 15 points.
The semifinals saw Arthur Andersen beat C-Mart Limited 15-12 and Bacardi International stop Chips Ltd. 15-11.
ATHLETICS ATH The Bermuda Track and Field Association has released the qualifying standards for the half-marathon at the CAC Championships, to be held in Cali, Colombia on August 1.
Men will have to run 1:14 or better and women 1:25 or better. Only Bermudians may qualify and the first chance to do so will be during Monday's Marathon Derby. A BTFA official will be recording times at the recognised half-marathon mark.
The deadline for qualifying will be July 7 and anyone interested in making an attempt should notify the BTFA. A maximum of four persons will be sent to Colombia.

GOLF GLF Registration for the Bermuda Golf Association Seniors' Championship has been extended until Tuesday, May 25 at 5 p.m. Interested participants can contact the secretary at 238-1367 to arrange for delivery of entry forms so they can be completed before the cut-off.
There are currently 21 male entries, including last year's winner Noel Van Patten and runner-up Sam Murray.
