Wednesday night.
Bradley Barton, Shaun Tucker and Vernon Lambe each went five-for-five and accounted for a large chunk of the offensive fireworks.
Tucker, who limited Kempe & Whittle batters to four runs, hit a home run and double and drove in four runs, but it was Barton who put on the Ruthian display.
Barton cracked two homers and a pair of doubles in driving in five runs, much to the dismay of losing pitcher John Gogan.
Dave Morgan was equally dangerous at the plate for PTB, with four hits and two triples for five RBI.
In another one-sided affair, Sandys Sports Club defeated Centre Re 16-6 behind Terry Corday's hitting (five hits, including a homer and double) and his dazzling pitching.
Danny Cook also had five hits for the winners with a triple and double.
Losing pitcher George Hutchings had little to smile about afterwards, except the strong hitting from Robin Hamill (two homers) and Tom Fink (two hits).
Skandia Sabres and BF&M also had their hitting shoes on, with Skandia grabbing a 29-19 triumph behind the hitting of Steve Ritter, Chris Fullerton and Nick Frost.
Each batter contributed five hits while Ritter and Fullerton stood out by hitting a home run and double each.
Mark Washington was no soft touch for BF&M, slamming five hits including two doubles.
Mike Tribley smacked a couple of home runs for the losers.
Rob Eastham was the winning pitcher while Alan Winston suffered the loss.

ROAD RUNNING RUN Sunday's Elbow Beach Half-Marathon will serve as the opener for the 1993-94 KPMG Peat Marwick National Road Running Series.
The series will feature 13 races and will this season include a junior section for those aged between 12 and 19.
There are eight junior races scheduled with distances ranging to 10 kilometres.
The various age groups are: 12-15, 16-19, 20-39, 40-49 and 50 and over. Prizes will be awarded to the top five male and female finishers in the open division and top three male and female in the juniors, masters, and veterans categories.
In addition, the series will be used by the BTFA as the vehicle for selection of a representative team to compete in the Falmouth Road Race next August.
There are 12 places available, including two as draw prizes to athletes completing eight or more races.
An extra boost to the junior series is four openings to attend the Nike Running Camp in Vermont, also next August, which will be offered to the category winners.
Entry forms are available at the Sportseller and the New Winners Edge. There is no entry fee, however, all entries must be received by December 31. After the Elbow Beach race, the series continues with the Barbara Ming Memorial on December 5, the Princess to Princess race on January 9 and the International 10-K on January 16 when the junior series officially starts.
Any queries about the series can be directed to co-ordinator Brett Forgesson at 292-1516.
TARGET SHOOTING SHO Eugene Robinson was the "top gun'' on Wednesday at the Prospect Range, shooting down targets to the tune of a 195 score that gave him a slim victory over second place Nelson Simons.
In the process Robinson produced one target with a perfect 100 -- 10 rounds entered the same hole.
The event marked the beginnning of a 12 shoot series which ends in March to determine the top small bore shot.
