Wolves' win earns Parish promotion

Hamilton Parish became the second promoted team yesterday when Second Division leaders Wolves beat home side St. David's.

Those hopes were kept alive when Patrick White shot them into the lead after just two minutes as he followed up on a parried save by Hewvonnie Brown.

Nathan Webb netted both Wolves goals from defensive errors, hitting the equaliser in the 30th minute and the winner a minute into the second half.

Alving Baker and Troy Burgess got the others for fourth-placed Paget while Laws scored a second from the penalty spot and Tyrone Douglas netted the other.

Prospect official Cal Smith was ejected from the bench by referee Gregory Smith for questioning the official's decisions.
