G.Crockwell scored 16 points, A.Bean 13 and K.Stovell 12 in a balanced attack that has seen the Rebels average 56 points while only conceding 39 in their three wins. Daniel Morgan and Derek Hurdle had 11 points each for Young Guns.

The earlier game was a lot closer with Brat Pack edging Fire Service 38-34.

J.Lauder scored 10 points to lead the winners while S.Holder and C.Knight had six apiece.

Brat Pack held a 17-7 lead at the half and did well in the face of fiery rearguard action in the second half from Fire Service as Knight, Holder and Lauder did a good job on the boards. S.Quin led the firemen with 14 points.

Purvis defaulted for the second time this week in the other scheduled smatch, this time to CableVision.

GOLF GLF Somerset Bridge Recreation Club will hold a benefit tournament in aid of Wendell (Jeep) Outerbridge on Sunday at Ocean View Golf Club. There will be a shot-gun start at 8 a.m.

VOLLEYBALL VOL All make-up games are scheduled for today at Bernard Park (6 p.m.). The tournament is scheduled for Sunday at the same venue. All teams are expected to arrive by 8.30 a.m.
