League leaders Tools and Equipment proved most punishing as they roasted Thompson's 26-4 behind the prowess of Dean Lightbourne and Conrad Lister, who posted series of 612 and 611 respectively, aiding a third high team game of 971.
Also in a no-nonsense mood were Marlboro as they romped 26-4 over forlorn Terminators, recording a second high team game off 972 and third high series 2,816.
Meanwhile, Casey Burgess spurred Stevedoring Services to a 221 -71 triumph against New Breed, while Clem Lespere's third high individual game 243 and 647 series helped New Mix Ups shock Team Electric 20-10.
Providing the highest game and series of all was Oscar Andrade, whose 248 and 673 enabled Lite Ice to claim a 191 -101 victory over Team Metro.
BASKETBALL BAS Basketball is on the rise in Bermuda and the Bermuda Basketball Association (BBA) are inviting local `hoop fanatics' -- male and female -- to sign up for the BBA Winter Basketball League.
The league will this year feature both a Premier Division and Adult Recreation Division for anyone 18 years and older and will have two venues for matches, with Saltus Gym being made available alongwith BAA Gym.
Action gets underway in January, however the deadline for those wishing to enter a new team or join an existing outfit is November 30.

SOCCER SOC Two private schools' soccer squads hailing from Canada are currently in Bermuda as guests of Saltus.
Teams from Ridley College and Albert College are set to play six matches against local opposition, starting on Friday, when Saltus tackle Ridley at 2 p.m. to be followed by Albert College versus a BSSF Select.
On Saturday, Saltus play Albert (1 p.m.) and the BSSF Select take on Ridley (3 p.m.); Sunday has North Village's Premier Division outfit hosting Ridley at Bernard Park (noon), while the tour concludes with BAA entertaining Albert on Monday at BAA (11 a.m.).
