BFA marks anniversary

Anniversary Committee chair Gerard Bean said: "We wanted to be a part of the community in the full sense of the word.

"Everyone has to be involved in developing the community, and football must go beyond the playing field.'' The celebration, scheduled to begin at 6.30 p.m., will feature musical entertainment including the Salvation Army Band, the CedarBridge Academy Choir, and The Bermuda National Youth Jazz Ensemble.

There will also be performances by the Spice Valley African Dancers, the Portuguese Cultural Dancers, and poetry reading by Davida Morris.
