weekend's fifth round of Open League cricket.

Bermuda's six-match tour of England ended yesterday and today the team will return from the two-week tour. The club hardest hit by the tour was St.

George's who lost four players in captain Wendell Smith, Dean Minors, Clay Smith and Kenny Phillips and their return should give them a better chance of avenging their limited-overs loss to Stars two weeks ago.

Stars, however, will also be stronger with captain Gary Brangman, Arnold Manders, Jeff Richardson returning.

Stars showed their depth by taking the Central Counties Cup from Nationals two weeks ago despite the absence of the three internationals and their return should boost chances of defending the title against Devonshire Rec. next weekend.

Willow Cuts host champions Devonshire Rec. at Royal Naval field in the day's top match. Rec. are the current leaders with 51 points, but second-placed Stars (50) and Cuts in third (47) are breathing down their necks.

Nationals captain Darrin Lewis, Bermuda's vice-captain, returns to lead his team against Somerset at Nationals in a clash of the mid-table teams while hot-and-cold St. David's will be looking to end a string of bad performances when they entertain a strong Police team at Lord's.

Fourth-placed Bailey's Bay will welcome the return of in-form batsman Charlie Marshall from the Bermuda tour but they will be without allrounder Noel Gibbons who has taken up a professional contract with Halesowen, the club that hosted Bailey's Bay on their pre-season tour. Bay are away to winless Flatts at Devonshire Rec.

Also seeking their first wins of the season are Hamilton Parish, who will have captain Ricky Hill and bowler Terry Burgess back, and Warwick, who meet at Wellington Oval tomorrow.

Cleveland, level on points with Bailey's Bay, should not have too much trouble with Social Club at Sea Breeze Oval while in the other match Southampton Rangers entertain Western Counties rivals Somerset Bridge.

Nationals and Hamilton Parish meet in a rescheduled Open League match at Nationals today.
