Cup crunch for Vasco and Village
they are to have any chance of landing the league and FA Cup double.
The Red Devils will attempt to reach their first appearance in the FA Cup final since 1989 when they take on Vasco in the semi-final tonight at Devonshire Rec.
Last week's draw pitted the two teams together for the first semi-final with Vasco coach John Rebello describing Village as "probably the best team in the Premier Division in terms of talent''.
Both teams have plenty to play for, and with Vasco now out of the running for the league, their focus has switched to winning a fourth FA Cup since 1994.
For Village, their season could hinge on the next two results as their hopes of a first league title also rests on their ability to beat Vasco on Sunday in their penultimate game of the season. Vasco beat Village 3-1 in their corresponding league fixture in December.
Tonight's opening match at 7.00 sees defending Crystal Palace champions, St.
George's, play Boulevard in the semi-final of that competition.
