Corey Hinds, Rodney Trott and Fiqre Crockwell all claimed two wickets for the East to stop the West short oftheir target in the Under-13 All-Stars match yesterday at Devonshire Rec.

Hinds took two for 13, Trott two for 17 and Crockwell 2-2 as the West, 52-4 at one stage in reply to the East total of 106-7 off 30 overs, slumped and lost their last six wickets for only 18 runs. In total they batted only 18 overs.

Barry Gibbons and Taurean Manders took one wicket apiece.

Dion Stovell was high man with 21 while andrew Raynor scored 16. In the East batting, Delby Borden was top scorer with 19 while Jayson Dill (16), Crockwell (16 not out), Brandon Trott (14 not out) and Freddy Hall (13) were the others in double figures.

Darren Anglin led the West bowling with three for 17 while Stovell, Shoron Fubler, Treadwell Gibbons and Raynor all had one wicket.

Today sees the Under-16 All-Star match at Lord's starting at 10 a.m.
