In week seven of the series, Contest , skippered by Andreas Lewin, and Port Royal , with William White at the helm, each posted second and third-place finishes in light winds.

Yesterday's winners were Elizabeth , for the Sandys Boat Club Shield, and Victory , for the CT Fowle Cup. But Elizabeth's win was followed by a second-race sinking, and Victory's success was offset by a fifth-place showing in the opener.

Malcolm Smith skippered Elizabeth and Alan Powell captained Victory .

Also sinking in the second race was Martin Siese and Echo after a fourth-place finish in race one.

Contest was second in the first race but slipped to third in the second; Port Royal was third in the first and second in the second race. Turning in sixth and fourth-place finishes was Paula Lewin's Challenger .

Current standings in the Coronation Cup were not available last night.
