Beginning today -- opening day in ballparks across North America -- Bermudians' growing interest in professional basketball, baseball, football and ice hockey will be marked by an extension of our sports deadline.

You'll notice the change in tomorrow's Royal Gazette when we begin to bring you up to date results from most of the previous night's NBA, NHL and MLB games.

Under a new format, you'll also be able to find out who did what, catch up on the very latest trades and chart your favourite team's progress in updated tables on the Scoreboard page.
