GRINS , an Andrews 68 captained by Chris Bernie, is anticipated to be the first yacht to reach the Island in the biennial race, probably by this morning.

GRINS , an Andrews 68 captained by Chris Bernie, is anticipated to be the first yacht to reach the Island in the biennial race, probably by this morning.
Bernie's boat is one of six which left Charleston on Saturday lunchtime bound for Bermuda.
Skipper Ted Turner jr. and his yacht Troika was reported to be Bernie's closest challenger early in the race.
Teamwork , skippered by Robin Team reported damage to one spinnaker.
The rest of the fleet is Dick Erlier's Tico Time , Aubrey Vaughan's Wind Vane and J Henry , captained by Hank and Susan Hofford.
Prizegiving will take place at the RBYC on Saturday at 6.30 p.m.
