WOMEN'S SOCCER SOC PHC 1 Wolves Girls 2 Two goals from Janikia Lightbourne ensured Wolves Girls' journey west on Saturday night was a worthy one, as they derailed the hopes of PHC at Somerset Cricket Club.

Lightbourne struck in the 28th minute to give Wolves the early edge, only to see Dionne Pitt equalise three minutes later for PHC.

It looked as if the teams would be forced to settle for a share of the spoils, but that was before Lightbourne popped up yet again in front of the home goal and planted the ball in the back of the net.

Royals 3 Prospect 0 Tanya Semos was the two-goal hero for Royals, who emerged convincing 3-0 winners over visiting Prospect during Sunday's match at St. John's Field.

Semos struck in quick succession in the first half, finding the target in the 33rd and 37th minutes.

It was then left to Laurie Murphy to cap the scoring with a 60th minute tally.
