action-packed year before deciding where his future in the game lies.

Hurdle, currently leading Bermuda in the World Rugby Classic, has recently returned from England after touring with the West Indies.

The Teachers player was one of six from the Island who joined others from all over the Caribbean for the inaugural trip.

The side more than held their own against more illustrious opposition during the visit which aimed to boost the profile of the sport in this region.

Prior to that Hurdle was playing professional rugby for English Second Division side Worcester having taken up the offer of a one-year contract.

The relationship between the two ended when he became homesick and he returned to the Island in September -- three months into his contract.

Speaking following Bermuda's World Rugby Classic opener against Argentina, Hurdle said he needed time to rest before deciding what to do next.

"At the moment I'm just taking things as they come. After the Classic I think I'll take a couple of weeks off and let my body rest,'' he said.

"I'm beginning to feel it now -- this is my sixth game in a span of about two and a half weeks.'' Hurdle insisted that despite not completing the contract at Worcester the experience had been well worth it and he did not rule out playing the game professionally again if the opportunity arose.

"I haven't given up but right now that's not a priority in my life,'' he said.
